The 7th Annual Jimmy V Celebrity Junior Golf Classic—June 23rd 2008

Each year cancer afflicts more children under the age of 18 than any other disease. To help combat the growing number of cases, local organizers have come together to form The Jimmy V Celebrity Junior Golf Classic. The 2008 Jimmy V Celebrity Junior Golf Classic will take place on Monday, June 23, at the Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh.

Participating golfers are eligible between the ages of 6 through 17. The goal of this event is to raise $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 for pediatric cancer research.

Celebrities participating in the Jimmy V Junior include local sports personalities from a variety of Carolina professional teams. Some of the area’s favorite players, including members of the Hurricanes and Panthers, come out to support this premier event. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Each level offers various opportunities for corporation publicity, pairings party tickets, gift packages, passes and more.
